Sign up For Northwest Miles and Receive Emails from Paypal?


Companies that do not have clear disclosures around the use of email addresses (which they collect) get under my skin (and could be violating the rules as well).

I sign up for a Northwest card (they offer good deals BTW).  Weeks later I receive emails from Paypal saying "Save on travel with Northwest Airlines and PayPal." 

Does not seem like the best way to engender marketing trust.
